BID ON THE-SALEROOM
Two late 19th century garnet and paste brooches. To include a circular-shape red paste and garnet flower brooch and a circular-shape red paste brooch. Six paste deficient. Lengths 2.7 and 4cms.
Overall condition fair to poor. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Some areas of discolouration visible to the reverse of the flower brooch, there are areas of wear to the edging. Visible damage to several of the paste on the circular-shape brooch, several paste are deficient. replacement catch to the reverse has been replaced, some areas of damage to the hinge. Some of the overlaid chevron panels feel a little loose. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
