Two gold diamond and gem-set rings. To include a 14ct gold sapphire and diamond floral cluster ring, together with a 9ct gold blue-gem and diamond panel ring. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Total weight 7.6gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. One band slightly out of shape. One band heavily abraded removing white metal plating, showing evidence of re-size. Gems well matched to each ring. Sapphires medium dark blue, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions, some sapphires show straight colour zoning easily seen under magnification. Blue-gems medium purplish-blue, with moderate saturation and fair clarity, some show straight colour zoning seen easily under magnification. Diamonds bright. Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
