Two early 20th century gold brooches. The first of open circular and scroll shapes, to the central and accenting yellow pastes and split pearl accents, the second a circular brooch with cultured pearl to the centre and beadwork surround. Mark indicating gold. Lengths 1.8 to 2.7cms. Weight 6.6gms.
This lot is in fair condition, with scratches, dints and tarnish to the metal surface in keeping with age and wear. To the first brooch there are four vacant metal loops, suggesting a further element is deficient. Cultured pearl to second brooch is slightly off centre and probably later added.
