Two early 20th century gem-set and paste rings. The first designed as a 15ct gold circular-shape green tourmaline and split pearl cluster ring with engraved sides, the second designed as a red and colourless paste panel. One colourless paste deficient. The second with hallmarks for 9ct gold, Birmingham 1916. Total weight 4.1gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Band to the 15ct gold ring slightly out of shape. Tourmaline medium slightly brownish-green, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Split pearls in fair top poor condition with some heavy abrasion and peeling to the surface.
