Three late 19th century brooches. The first, a bar brooch with spherical finials, beadwork to the rectangular sides and a floral motif to the centre, together with a memorial brooch the rose designed border to the central, glazed woven hair panel and a third set with turquoise. Lengths 1.7 to 4.2cms. Weight 10.1gms.
This lot is in fair to poor condition, with scratches, dints and tarnish to the metal surface in keeping with age and wear. The turquoise brooch has three cabochons, which are not well matched for colour, but range from green-blue to pale blue. The bar brooch is heavily tarnished and its clasp is deficient. The memorial brooch has light chips to the glass and a small indentation to the reverse.
