BID ON THE-SALEROOM
SMITHS - a gentleman's Astral bracelet watch. Stainless steel case with calibrated bezel. Unsigned manual wind movement. Black dial with luminous dot hour markers, Arabic numeral twelve and six, date aperture to three. Fitted to an unsigned stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp. 37mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement is in a very poor condition with noticeable signs of rust. Dial appears to be in a poor condition with noticeable marks, scratches, tarnishing, some lifting of the laminate. Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint. Hands are possibly later replacements. Glass has noticeable scuffs and multiple scratches. Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Bezel does not rotate. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting. Bracelet has medium scratches and some signs of stretching to links. Clasp is currently functioning and shows visible scratches and marks. Bracelet measures approximately 19cm including case. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
