- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
ROLEX - a lady's Oyster Perpetual Date bracelet watch. Circa 1972. Stainless steel case with yellow metal fluted bezel. Reference 6917, serial 3418641. Signed automatic calibre 2030. Blue dial with baton hour markers, date aperture to three. Fitted to a signed bi-metal Jubilee bracelet with stainless steel Oysterclasp. 25mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement is worn with some surface rust and noticeable scratches and marks visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to be in a poor condition with noticeable marks, scratches, tarnishing, some lifting of the laminate, especially around the baton hour markers. Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Glass has noticeable scratches and marks. Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Crown screws down and is not currently functioning correctly; the surface has heavy scratches and marking. Bracelet has medium scratches and some signs of stretching to links. Clasp is currently functioning and shows visible scratches and marks. Bracelet measures approximately 17cm including case. This lot does not come with box or papers. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
