- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
ROLEX - a lady's Oyster Perpetual Date bracelet watch. Circa 1972. Stainless steel case. Reference 6916, serial 3618788. Signed automatic calibre 2030. Silvered dial with baton hour markers, date aperture to three. Fitted to a signed stainless steel Oyster bracelet with Oysterclasp. 26mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Black rubber seal in the back of the case shows some damage. Dial shows marks, luminous hour markers show discolouration. Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Luminous inserts show discolouration. Glass has noticeable scratches and marks. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has scratches and dints. Bracelet has scratches, marks and noticeable stretching to links. End links shows distortion and are not sitting against the case correctly. Clasp is currently functioning and shows visible scratches, marks and dints. Bracelet measures approximately 17.5cm including case. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
