ROLEX - a gentleman's wrist watch. 9ct yellow gold case, hallmarked Birmingham 1954. Numbered 13874, 582894. Signed manual wind calibre 710. Silvered dial with pointed hour markers. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with base metal pin buckle. 36mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. Dial is noticeably discoloured. Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint. Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Case shows discolouration due to age. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking. Strap is in a poor condition with noticeable wear, marks, creasing and discolouration. Buckle shows wear to the plating as well as marks and scratches. This lot does not come with box or papers.
