ROLEX - a gentleman's Precision wrist watch. Circa 1936. 9ct yellow gold case with engraved case back, hallmarked Birmingham 1965. Reference 13345, serial 89453. Signed manual wind movement. Silvered dial with baton hour markers. Fitted to an unsigned tan leather strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 33mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe. Glass has noticeable scratches and marks. Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting. Strap is in a poor condition with noticeable wear, marks, creasing and discolouration. Spring bar to the 12 o'clock side of the case is very reluctant to stay in place and works itself loose very easily. Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches.
