ROLEX - a gentleman's Precision wrist watch. 9ct yellow gold case, hallmarked London 1959. Numbered 07318. Signed manual wind movement. Silvered dial with chevron hour markers, Arabic numeral six and nine, date aperture to three. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 33mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to be in a poor condition with noticeable marks, scratches, tarnishing, some lifting of the laminate. Dial is heavily discoloured and shows cracks to laminate. Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe. Glass has noticeable scuffs and multiple scratches with some cracks to the surface. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking. Gold plated surface came of in few places. Strap is in a poor condition with noticeable wear, marks, creasing and discolouration. Buckle shows wear to the plating as well as marks and scratches. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
