ROLEX - a gentleman's Precision bracelet watch. 9ct yellow gold case, hallmarked Birmingham 1959. Numbered 969059. Signed manual wind movement. Silvered dial with Arabic numeral hour markers. Fitted to an unsigned brown leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 35mm.
Movement is not currently functioning. We have been unable to wind the movement. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to be in a poor condition with noticeable marks, scratches, tarnishing, some lifting of the laminate. Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Glass has noticeable scratches and marks. Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting. Gold plating has rubbed entirely from the surface. Expandable bracelet has heavy scratches with some signs of stretching and some twisting to links. Gold plating is very heavily rubbed. Bracelet measures approximately 17.5cm including case. This lot comes with a box in used condition with moderate to heavy but no papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
