- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
ROLEX - a gentleman's Oysterdate Precision bracelet watch. Circa 1970. Stainless steel case. Reference 6694, serial 3089481. Signed manual wind calibre 1225. Silvered dial with baton hour markers, date aperture to three. Fitted to a signed stainless steel Oyster bracelet with Oysterclasp. 35mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial shows some tiny marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Luminous markers show some discolouration. Hands show marks and some tarnishing. Luminous inserts show some discolouration. Glass has scratches and marks. Case shows light scratches, marks and dints. Case may have been repolished in the past. Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable dent. Bracelet has light scratches, marks, tiny dints and stretching to links. Bracelet may have been repolished in the past. Clasp is currently functioning and appears to be in good condition with minor marks. Clasp may have been repolished in the past. Bracelet measures approximately 18cm including case. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.
