- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Submariner bracelet watch. Circa 1967. Stainless steel case with calibrated bezel. Reference 5513, serial 1617192. Signed automatic calibre 1520. Black dial with luminous hour markers. Fitted to a signed stainless steel Oyster bracelet with Fliplock clasp. 39mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe, however the luminous hour markers show discolouration. Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Luminous inserts show discolouration. Glass has noticeable scuffs and multiple scratches. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Bezel insert is a possible third-party replacement. Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking. Bracelet has visible scratches, marks and stretching to links. Bracelet appears to be later than the watch and has the date code G. Clasp is currently functioning and shows visible scratches and marks. Bracelet measures approximately 18cm including case. Lot to include a service document, however the document dose not have any reference or numbers that relates to the watch. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.
