RAYMOND WEIL - a gentleman's Tango chronograph wrist watch. Stainless steel case. Reference 4881/1, serial K001693. Unsigned quartz movement with quick date set. Black dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to two, six and ten, split date aperture to twelve. Fitted to a signed black rubber strap with stainless steel deployant clasp. 34mm. Box and papers.
Movement is not currently functioning, whether this is due to the need for a new battery or symptomatic of something more serious is unknown. Movement appears to be in a generally good condition with little sign of previous intervention when viewed under a 4x loupe. Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. Hands appear to be in a generally good condition. Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking. Strap is in a poor condition with noticeable wear, marks, creasing and discolouration. Surface appears cracked in many places. Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches. This lot comes with a box in moderate condition and papers to consist of a guarantee card dated 5.2.10. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
