An early 20th century 18ct gold garnet and diamond snake ring. Designed as a coiled serpent, the head with circular-shape garnet terminal and graduated old-cut diamond line. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Hallmarks for London, 1914. Weight 11.5gms.
Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches / wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Possibly resized. Possible replacement gems. There is one replacement brilliant-cut diamond. Diamonds well matched. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Few, small, scattered inclusions. Garnet is a light medium slightly brownish red hue. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Ring size T. Width 1.4cms (at widest).
