BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A selection of three items of micro mosaic jewellery. To include a rectangular-shape brooch depicting a Roman ruin within an onyx border, a foliate stickpin and a ring with vacant centre and blue red and white micro mosaic border. Length of brooch 4.6cms. Length of stickpin 6.2cms. Ring size O. Total weight 26.6gms.
Overall condition poor to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Brooch is in poor condition. The onyx panel is broken into several pieces. These cracks are easily visible to the front of the brooch. This has been glued back together. A large amount of glue residue reverse of brooch. Stickpin in good condition. Minor nibbles to blue hardstone. Ring is in poor condition. Central panel is missing. Some tesserae are missing. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition. - Shipping Info
