- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
OPTIMA - a gentleman's chronograph wrist watch. Gold plated case. Numbered 1511. Signed manual wind movement. Silvered dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to twelve and six, outer telemeter scale. Fitted to an unsigned brown leather strap with base metal pin buckle. 35mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Glass has scratches and marks. Case shows scratches and marks. Case back has noticeable pitting. Case appears to have been replated. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has marks. Crown has visible wear to the plating. Strap is in a poor condition with noticeable wear, marks, creasing and discolouration. Buckle shows marks and scratches. Buckle has visiable wear to the plating. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.
