BID ON THE-SALEROOM.COM
OMEGA - a gentleman's wrist watch. Stainless steel case. Numbered 8579165. Signed manual wind movement. Silvered dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with base metal pin buckle. 23mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial shows noticeable marks, scratches, tarnishing and discolouration. Hands show marks and tarnishing. Seconds hand appears to be a later replacement as it is of a different style/colour than the other hands. Also seconds hand appears to be too big for the subsidiary dial. Glass has noticeable scratches and marks. Glass also shows some chips. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Bottom bar hands the strap shows some distortion. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting. Crown also shows some wear to the plating. Strap is in a poor condition with noticeable wear, marks, creasing and discolouration. Strap appears to be small resulting in the bars at the top and bottom of the case being visible. Buckle shows wear to the plating as well as marks and scratches. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
