- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
OMEGA - a gentleman's Speedmaster chronograph wrist watch. Stainless steel case with yellow metal tachymeter bezel. Numbered 53643474. Signed automatic calibre 1155 with quick date set. Blue dial with baton hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to six, nine and twelve, date aperture to three. Fitted to an unsigned blue shark strap with gold plated pin buckle. 38mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Chronograph appears to be functioning but we have been unable to test the hour counter. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe. Tip of minute hand appears to be misaligned. Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting. Strap is in a poor condition with noticeable wear, marks, creasing and discolouration. Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches. The plating has lifted entirely from the buckle. This lot does not come with box or papers.
