- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
OMEGA - a gentleman's De Ville wrist watch. Gold plated case with stainless steel case back. Reference 192.0034. Signed quartz calibre 1342. Champagne dial with baton hour markers, date aperture to three. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 34mm.
Movement is not currently functioning, whether this is due to the need for a new battery or symptomatic of something more serious is unknown. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to be in a poor condition with noticeable marks, scratches, tarnishing, some lifting of the laminate. There is some moderate to heavy discolouration at the edges of the dial. Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Glass has noticeable scuffs and multiple scratches. Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Crown is not currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking. Crown detaches entirely from the case. Even when the crown is pushed down it will still adjust the hands if it is moved. Strap shows wear with visible marks, creasing and discolouration. Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.
