- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
MOVADO - a gentleman's Tempomatic wrist watch. Yellow metal case, stamped 18k with poincon. Numbered 220039 6109. Signed automatic calibre 220M. Silvered dial with alternating Arabic numeral and arrowhead hour markers. Fitted to an unsigned brown lizard strap with gold plated pin buckle. 34mm.
Movement is not currently functioning. Movement is in a very poor condition with noticeable signs of rust. There is damage to the rotor whereby one edge has become serrated and rough. Dial appears to be in a poor condition with noticeable marks, scratches, tarnishing, some lifting of the laminate. Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Glass appears to be glued in place. Bezel is missing. Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Evident repair work to the lugs. Case back is very sticky. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking. Strap appears to be in good condition with minor marks and creasing. Buckle appears to be in good condition with minor marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.
