BID ON THE-SALEROOM.COM
MONTBLANC - a gentleman's Meisterstuck Timewalker chronograph wrist watch. Stainless steel case with exhibition case back. Reference 7069, serial PJ157150. Signed automatic calibre 4810/505 with quick date set. Black dial with alternating Arabic numeral and baton hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to three and nine, date aperture to six. Fitted to a signed black alligator strap with stainless steel deployant clasp. 43mm. Box and papers.
Movement is currently functioning. Chronograph appears to be functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. Hands appear to be in a generally good condition. Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking. Quick date set does not appear to be functioning. Strap is in a poor condition with noticeable wear, marks, creasing and discolouration. Strap will need replacing due to the current dirty condition. Buckle is incomplete. It is in a good condition but one of the pins is misaligned and therefore buckle does not close securely. This lot comes with a box in used condition with moderate wear and papers to consist of a certificate dated 7.14.07 (USA dated). Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
