MAURICE LACROIX - a gentleman's bracelet watch. Stainless steel case with exhibition case back. Numbered 11714 034. Signed automatic movement with quick date set. Two-tone dial with alternating Arabic numeral and baton hour markers, date aperture to six. Fitted to a signed stainless steel bracelet with double folding clasp. 36mm. Papers.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. There are some light to medium scratches to the rotor. Dial appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. The batons and Arabic numerals show heavy tarnishing and the date aperture is in a poor condition. It appears as though the Arabic numeral four has been reapplied with evidence of glue residue visible. Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. The luminous paste is discoloured. Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Case shows light scratches and marks. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking. Bracelet has medium scratches and some signs of stretching to links. Clasp is currently functioning and shows visible scratches and marks. One side may require attention to make it more secure. Bracelet measures approximately 20cm including case. This lot does not come with a box, but comes with papers to consist of a warranty card dated 21.12.1996. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
