HELVETIA - a gentleman's wrist watch. 9ct yellow gold case, hallmarked Edinburgh 1956. Signed manual wind movement. Silvered dial with alternating Arabic numeral and arrowhead markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Fitted to an unsigned grey strap with gold plated pin buckle. 30mm. Together with a 9ct gold gentleman's Rotary wrist watch and a 9ct gold gentleman's Everite wrist watch.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to be in a poor condition with noticeable marks, scratches, tarnishing, some lifting of the laminate. Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint. Glass has noticeable scratches and marks. Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Case is discoloured and the case back is heavily scratched and scuffed. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting. The surface displays heavy discolouration. Strap is in a poor condition with noticeable wear, marks, creasing and discolouration. Buckle shows wear to the plating as well as marks and scratches. The other two watches in this lot do not appear to be functioning. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
