BID ON THE-SALEROOM.COM
HAMILTON - a gentleman's Seckron wrist watch. Gold plated case with stainless steel case back. Numbered 6214. Unsigned quartz movement. Black dial with baton hour markers, quarterly Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Fitted to an unsigned brown leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 24mm. Box.
Movement is not currently functioning, whether this is due to the need for a new battery or symptomatic of something more serious is unknown. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. There are some small fibres caught on the dial. Hands appear to be in a generally good condition. Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. There is some light wear to the plating to the corners of the case. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. Strap appears to be in good condition with minor marks and creasing. Buckle appears to be in good condition with minor marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. This lot comes with a box in used condition with moderate wear but no papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
