BID ON THE-SALEROOM
HAMILTON - a gentleman's military issue bracelet watch. Stainless steel case. Stamped with British broad arrow. Numbered 6B-9101000 H 1227 M. Signed manual wind calibre 75. Black dial with Arabic numeral hour markers. Fitted to an unsigned stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp. 35mm.
Movement is not currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial shows some minor marks, however the luminous markers show noticeable discolouration. Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Luminous inserts show some discolouration. Hands may be later replacements. Glass has scratches and marks. Case shows light scratches, marks and dints. Crown is not currently functioning correctly as it is not winding the watch; the surface has light scratches and dints. Bracelet has scratches, marks and some signs of stretching to links. Top end links shows dents and some distortion. Clasp is currently functioning and shows visible scratches and marks. Bracelet measures approximately 18cm including case. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
