BID ON THE-SALEROOM.COM
GIGANDET - a gentleman's chronograph wrist watch. Yellow metal case, stamped 18k with poincon. Numbered 1375. Unsigned manual wind movement. Silvered dial with gilt baton hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to three and nine. Fitted to an unsigned brown leather strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 37mm.
Wind movement is currently functioning. Chronograph is currently not functioning. Movement seems to bear medium scratches and tarnishing, consistent with general usage. Dial seems to show light scratches to the hour markers, visible under a 10x loupe. Hands appear to be lightly pitted and tarnished. Case appears to bear light scratches and tarnishing with heavy chips. Glass appears to have been replaced with plastic which is lightly scratched. Crown and chronograph pushers seem to be heavily tarnished. Bezel currently shows light scratches and medium dents. Case back currently bears medium scuffs and scratches. Strap seems to display slight wear and cracking around the pinholes but is otherwise in good condition. Buckle appears to be in good condition. This lot does not come with a box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.
