BID ON THE-SALEROOM.COM
FREDERIQUE CONSTANT - a gentleman's chronograph wrist watch. Stainless steel case. Reference FC292X4T5/6, serial 1634445. Unsigned quartz movement with quick date set. Silvered dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to two, six and ten, date aperture to four. Fitted to a signed black leather strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 36mm.
Movement is not currently functioning, whether this is due to the need for a new battery or symptomatic of something more serious is unknown. Movement appears to be in a generally good condition with little sign of previous intervention when viewed under a 4x loupe. Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. Hands appear to be in a generally good condition. Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Case shows light scratches and marks. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. Strap appears to be in good condition with minor marks and creasing. Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.
