Five late 19th to early 20th century gem-set stickpins. To include a garnet and split pearl fly stickpin, together with four single-stone stickpins, variously set with opal, ruby, turquoise and stained mother-of-pearl. Length of stickpin heads 0.4 to 1.5cms. Total weight 7.3gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Some replacement pins, slight discolouration and wear. Fly with one split pearl eye deficient. Opal displays good play of colour. Turquoise is a light medium blue hue. Ruby is a medium red hue, well saturated, with poor to fair clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
