ERNEST BOREL - a gentleman's wrist watch. 9ct yellow gold case with engraved case back, import hallmarked London 1954. Reference 391967, serial 360080M. Signed automatic calibre 1560. Silvered dial with arrowhead hour markers, quarterly Arabic numerals. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 34mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to be in a poor condition with noticeable marks, scratches, tarnishing. Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishingGlass has noticeable scuffs and multiple scratches. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting. Strap shows wear with visible marks, creasing and discolouration. Buckle shows wear to the plating as well as marks and scratches. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
