- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
EBEL - a gentleman's Le Modulor chronograph bracelet watch. 18ct yellow gold case with exhibition case back. Numbered E5137240 64201256. Signed automatic calibre 137 with quick date set. Silvered dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary mother-of-pearl recorder dials to three, six and nine, date aperture between four and five. Fitted to a signed 18ct yellow gold bracelet with folding clasp. 40mm. 198gms.
Movement is currently functioning, however the subsidiary dial to six is not resetting to centre. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. Hour markers below the numerals show loss. Hands show marks and tarnishing. Luminous inserts show visible marks and discolouration. Glass has scratches and marks. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking. Bracelet has scratches, marks small dints and stretching to links. Clasp is currently functioning and shows scratches and marks. Bracelet measures approximately 19.5cm including case. Lot to include an unrelated inner box.
