- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
CWC - a gentleman's military issue wrist watch. Stainless steel case, stamped with British Broad Arrow. Numbered 0552/6645-99 5415317 44664 89. Unsigned quartz movement. Black dial with Arabic numeral hour markers. Fitted to an unsigned black nylon 'NATO' style strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 35mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. Dial appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. Hands show holes and discolouration to the luminous paint. Glass has noticeable scratches and marks. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking. Strap appears to be in good condition with minor marks and creasing. Buckle appears to be in good condition with minor marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.
