CORUM - a gentleman's Admirals Cup chronograph wrist watch. 18ct yellow gold case with exhibition case back and calibrated bezel with nautical pennants. Reference 985.630.56, serial 798971. Signed automatic movement with quick date set. White dial with luminous hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to three, six and nine, date aperture to six. Fitted to a signed brown alligator strap with yellow metal double folding clasp. 49mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe. There is light discolouration to the luminous paint of the hour hand. Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking. Strap shows wear with visible marks, creasing and discolouration. Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches.
