- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
CARTIER - a Tank Francaise Chronoflex chronograph bracelet watch. Stainless steel case. Reference 2303, serial BB23358. Signed quartz calibre 212P with quick date set. Silvered dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to four and eight, date dial to twelve. Fitted to a signed bi-colour bracelet with double folding clasp. 28mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Black rubber seal in the rear of the case is stretched. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial has some light marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Hands show marks when viewed under a x4 loupe. Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Case shows light scratches and marks. Case appears to have been repolished in the past. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. Pushers show noticeable wear to the plating. Bracelet has medium scratches and some signs of stretching to links. Bracelet has some wear to the gold plating. Bracelet appears to have been repolished in the past. Clasp is currently functioning and shows light scratches and marks. Clasp appears to have been repolished in the past. Bracelet measures approximately 14.5cm including case. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.
