- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
CARTIER - a Santos Ronde bracelet watch. Stainless steel case with yellow metal bezel. Reference 21998, serial 187903. Signed quartz calibre 87 with quick date set. Cream dial with Roman numeral hour markers, date aperture to three. Fitted to a signed bi-metal bracelet with folding clasp. 24mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe. Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Case shows light scratches and marks. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting. The stone in the crown is heavily chipped and is rough to the touch. Bracelet has light scratches and some signs of light stretching to links. There is heavy discolouration to one of the gold screws on the bracelet. Clasp is currently functioning and shows visible scratches and marks. Bracelet measures approximately 15cm including case. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.
