- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
CARTIER - a Roadster chronograph wrist watch. Stainless steel case. Reference 2618, serial 33920CE. Signed automatic movement with quick date set. Silvered dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to three, six and nine, date aperture to three. Tachymeter rehaut. Fitted to a signed black leather strap with stainless steel deployant clasp. 43mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Chronograph appears to be functioning but we have been unable to test the hour counter. Movement appears to be in a generally good condition with little sign of previous intervention when viewed under a 4x loupe. Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. Hands appear to be in a generally good condition. Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Case appears to be in good condition with minor scratches and marks. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. Strap shows marks and creasing. Buckle appears to be in good condition with minor marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. This lot does not come with box or papers.
