Designed as a graduated fancy 'yellow' brilliant-cut diamond crescent, within a brilliant-cut diamond spiral and further marquise, pear and brilliant-cut diamond accents. Signed and numbered, Cartier N209. Estimated total fancy 'yellow' diamond weight 3.20cts. Estimated total colourless diamond weight 8.65cts. Length 6.2cms. Weight 26.5gms. With fitted Cartier case.This exquisite yellow and colourless diamond brooch depicts a yellow diamondcrescent moon and a swirling ribbon of diamonds. As a one-of-a-kind piece, it notonly reflects the fine craftsmanship and interpretation of the book title by Cartier,but also the imagination and success of one of Britain's finest female novelists.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright.
