The circular reverse carved intaglio, depicting a bumble bee, within a circular amethyst cabochon and split pearl surround. Maker's mark for Carlo Giuliano. Diameter 2.5cms. Weight 8.3gms. With associated case.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. There are some areas of discolouration to the back surround. Slight scratches to the reverse carved intaglio in places. The amethyst are well matched, typical inclusions visible with magnification. The split pearls are well matched and in good condition.
