ANGELUS - a gentleman's chronograph watch head. Yellow metal case, stamped 18K 0.750 with poincon. Numbered 60104. Signed manual wind movement. Champagne dial with arrowhead hour markers, Arabic twelve and six, subsidiary recorder dials to three and nine.35mm.
Manual wind movement is not currently functioning and will need attention. The crown can become detached from the body of the case chronograph function is at fault. Dial shows visible pitting, marks, scratches and discolouration. Red markers to the three o'clock subsidiary dial may be a later addition. Centre seconds hand appears to be a replacement as it is much shorter than the original, hand to the subsidiary seconds dial at nine o'clock also appears to be a replacement. Hands have marks and tarnishing. Centre seconds hand shows some loss to the red. Glass has light scratches and marks. Case has light scratches and dints. Case appears to have been repolished in the past. Crown and pushers have wear to the plating. Case back has mark, scratches and a visible dent. This lot does not come with box or papers.
