BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An unusual late 19th century French mother of pearl and gilt metal travel clock. With 2.25-inch Arabic dial and a timepiece movement with vertically-mounted lever platform escapement, the rectangular body pierced with rococo scrollwork over mother of pearl carcase, on bun feet, 5, (13cm) high excluding carry handle.
Dial blacking slightly faded, would benefit from a clean. Possibly minor losses to brass metalwork. - Shipping Info
