An operculum pendant. The oval-shape shell operculum, to the late 19th century gold rope-twist mount. Length 3.5cms. Total weight 10.3gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Mount shows slight evidence of wear/reworking. Shell probable replacement. Shell with fine crack. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
