- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An open face pocket watch by Waltham. Gold plated case. Signed keyless wind movement with club tooth lever escapement. Champagne dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 43mm. Together with a white metal full hunter fob watch, two white metal open face fob watches and a white metal watch head.
Movement is not currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Screw heads show signs of previous intervention. Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. Dial also shows pitting. Minute hand is missing. Remaining hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under an eye glass. Glass has noticeable scratches and marks. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Case has some wear to the plating. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting. Pendent and bow show marks and light scratches. Bow has wear to the plating. Due to the quantity of other items in this lot we are unable to comment on the condition accurately. This lot does not come with box or papers.
