An open face pocket watch by Waltham. 9ct yellow gold case, hallmarked Chester 1921. Signed keyless wind seven jewel movement with club tooth lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 49mm. 86gms.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. There are some heavy dints to the case back and pitting to the side of the case. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
