An open face pocket watch by Omega, retailed by John Mottram Ltd. 9ct yellow gold case, hallmarked Birmingham 1935. Signed keyless wind fifteen jewel movement, numbered 8200019, with club tooth lever escapement. Silvered dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 47mm. 60gms.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to be in a poor condition with noticeable marks, scratches, tarnishing, some lifting of the laminate. Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Case back displays medium dints. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting. Crown offers light resistance to being wound but is currently functioning. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
