BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An open face pocket watch by John Myers & Co. White metal case, stamped 0,935 with poincon. Unsigned key wind half plate movement with cylinder escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 50mm. Together with a white metal open face pocket watch and a white metal chain.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement is worn with some surface rust and noticeable scratches and marks visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Glass has noticeable scuffs and multiple scratches. Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. The protective cover that is placed over the movement is loose and will just fall out when you open up the back of the case. The other watch in this lot does not appear to be functioning. The chain is heavily discoloured and displays moderate to heavy scratches and tarnishing. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
