An open face pocket watch by Efficient. Gold plated case. Unsigned keyless wind ten jewel movement with club tooth lever escapement. Champagne dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 47mm. Together with a yellow metal chain. 17cm.
Movement is currently functioning, however the winding action is not smooth. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Some screws show surface rust. Some screw heads show signs of previous intervention. Dial shows visible marks and discolouration. Minute track shows some loss to the black print. Hands show marks and tarnishing. Glass has noticeable scratches and marks. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Case also shows some loss to the gold plating. Crown is currently functioning correctly but winding action is not smooth; the surface has scratches and marks. Crown shows wear to the plating and visible tarnishing. Bow has wear to the plating as well as marks and scratches. Chain has noticeable wear to the plating as well as marks, scratches and tarnishing. This lot does not come with box or papers.
