BID ON THE-SALEROOM.COM
An open face 'Goliath' pocket watch. Base metal case with train engraving to case back. Numbered 497796. Unsigned keyless wind movement with club tooth lever escapement. Pink dial with Roman numeral hour markers, Arabic numeral twenty-four hour markers, subsidiary second dial to six. 67mm. Together with a white metal pocket watch by Kay's and a gentleman's base metal Accurist wrist watch.
Movement is not currently functioning. Movement is worn with some surface rust and noticeable scratches and marks visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. There are some large cracks running the full length and width of the dial. Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Minute hand appears to be a replacement. Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Crown is not currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking. This lot does not come with box or papers. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
