An opal pendant. Designed as an oval opal cabochon, within a halo surround, to the scrolling link, suspended from an oval opal cabochon and fancy-link chain. Length of pendant 4.8cms. Length of chain 38cms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Areas of discolouration in places, the chain is possibly not original to the piece. The opals have a blue body colour, displaying, predominantly blues and greens and a few areas of pink. There are bands of colour to the main opal, the smaller opal appears transparent in places, with areas of patcjhy play of colour. Four chips to the main opal, some scratches visible with the unaied eye. Clasp is dented. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
