- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An opal and diamond cluster ring. The oval opal cabochon, within a brilliant-cut diamond surround, to the tapered shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.55ct. Ring size M. Weight 9.5gms.
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Band shows evidence of a resize. Localised black discolouration to the diamond settings. The opal has strong blue, green and red play-of-colour, with light surface scratches. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
